Hi,
I stumbled across your blog while looking for a few ideas for my students and blogging. I teach in MA as well. How is it going with this assignment. I used to keep a class site through blogger as well but the district got all skiddish because of bad content on other blogs. If you would like to check out my site... here is the link.

I bought the domain because I was frustrated with the limitations that the "district" websites offered.
Maybe we could share some ideas...
Dave

Mr. Bronson - Cool site. Nice links & info. Your classes look fun and engaging.

I'm trying to post all my blogs about student blogging on the bgexemplar page.

I'm starting a short story unit with my freshmen; it culminates with an original short story that they'll post to their class blogs.

I'd be happy to share ideas.

Jo - Thanks! I don't mind at all. The recognition is appreciated.

You've read Twilight? Did you like it?

Oh yeah. I've read Twilight and New Moon. I'm currently on Eclipse. It's fun reading... the plot moves right along.

SO many of my students were into it. I needed to see what the hubbub was all about.

So far I dig it.

I saw the movie too. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. If I hadn't read the book, I'd probably give it a 5 or 6. Overall, I thought it stayed true to the book where it mattered.

One divergence was how Bella & her dad always eat out... I like it that Bella cooks for her dad in the books. This rounds out her personality a bit. I wonder why the director changed this aspect of her character.
